Hey there, I'm Dori a paramedic with a deep passion for medicine and helping people. I currently reside in Austin Texas.  I've been in this field for seven plus years now, and I absolutely love what I do. As a first responder, I'm always ready to jump into action and provide the care and assistance that people need during emergencies, but my true passion is preventative, holistic care.

Originally, I was born in Israel, but my family moved to the United States when I was just four years old. I spent most of my early years in New York City and experiencing the unique blend of cultures within my household. With my Russian father and Manhattan-born mother, our home was a melting pot of traditions and beliefs. It was fascinating to hear contrasting advice from my parents when I fell ill. My father swore by mustard powder in socks for a cold, while my mother insisted on antibiotics if the mustard remedy didn't work. This upbringing instilled in me a profound appreciation for both eastern and western medicine and I developed a strong understanding of the benefits of what each system offers.

The progression of my journey into the world of eastern medicine persisted at a young age when I fell ill, and the only thing that brought me relief was an alternative treatment called reflexology. That experience truly piqued my interest in Eastern medicine, and when I was 19 and facing another health issue, I sought help from a facility in Florida called Hippocrates. They showed me how food can be a powerful healer for the body, and it was a game-changer for me.

Taking proactive measures to improve our health can lead to remarkable results. I have personally found an extraordinary change with my health since I have embarked on the journey of IV hydration and vitamin replacement. Embracing this holistic approach has become an integral part of my lifestyle, as I strive to promote well-being and educate others about the importance of preventive care. The combination of both medical philosophies has shaped my perspective, enriching my life with a broader understanding of health and wellness.

As much as I value my role as a paramedic, my heart lies in preventive care. I'm passionate about educating people on maintaining their well-being before they end up in the hospital. So, in my free time, you'll often find me reading peer-reviewed journals on alternative medicine and learning about holistic approaches to healthcare.

Aside from medicine, I'm a proud pet parent to a dog and two cats, who bring so much joy into my life. I'm a nature enthusiast, and I love going horseback riding, paddle boarding, and exploring new places whenever I get the chance.

It's been an incredible journey so far, and I'm excited to continue making a positive impact in the lives of others through my work and my commitment to holistic healing. I can't wait to work with you and share in the experience of striving for healthier and happier lives.
